Traction control comes on by itself?

About 5 years ago I hit a curb and it bent my right rim, and now when I drive between 30 and 50 MPH it starts to shake. Another problem that occurs is that if I turn my steering wheel to a certain point the traction control light comes on. I've had the wheels replaced and balanced still hasn't fixed it. Do you think you know what's happening? Thanks in advance.

More then likely this is a steering angle sensor or a wheel speed sensor is not reading correctly so when you turn the wheel it tells the ABS that the traction control needs to activate so it does.
