Can someone tell me what the part is called?

I have no idea what the car part is called and am looking everywhere but can't seem to find a pic that would match. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right spot? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The picture is so close-up, it's hard for me to tell? If that shaft goes from transaxle or transfer case, to tire, I call it a halfshaft.

These are gear components from your transmission, if that is where that part came from? Note the pictures. No, I don't think it is a halfshaft.

Hopefully the part is in the pictures below, otherwise, I'm not sure?
