I HAVE A SHUTOFF PROBLEM WITH MY 1994 CADILLAC SEVILLE SLS. IT SHUT OFF WHEN I AM DRIVING. THE ONLY INDICATION IT GIVE IS THAT THE ENGINE STARTS TO REV UP FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON. HOWEVER, WHEN IT SHUTS OFF IT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP WITH NO PROBLEM. JUST TURN THE KEY. I COULD DRIVE THE CAR FOR HOURS, AND ALL THE SUDDEN IT WILL REV UP AND SHUTOFF.

It sounds like a leaky intake manifold gasket.
