1992 Cadillac Seville car stalls after runing for a while

1992 Cadillac Seville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 167000 miles
i have a 1992 cadilac sevile when i start the car it runs well and very smoothly until after about 8 minutes it starts to stall and when the gas is pressed it stalls and the engine stops, the engine light comes on after the 8 to 10 minutes car starts and then cuts off,the rpms goes up and down when started then a light comes on and says' service ride controll
