my husband replaced the brakes on the rear and the aanti lock light is on. Also its squelling sound and a burning smell. We pushed the emergency brake in and then released it, but it didnt make a difference. What is he doing wrong? Also the machanic changed the oil on the car and tried to reset the display button for the oil change and held it for five seconds but it didnt reset itself. What did he do wrong?

Something could have been damaged while replacing the brakes. You will have to take it to a pro to have the code read to see what is causing the ABS light to go on. As far as the burning smell, when youpushed on the parking brake it probably didn't release and that is your burning smell. For the oil change light, turn the key on and push the gas pedal to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds. The light should blink if it does turn the key off then start the car up the light should go off. If it doesn't blink then turn thekey off and start over.
