I HAVE A LIGHT ON MY DASHBOARD THAT LOOKS LIKE AND EXCLAMATION POINT WITH A SUN AROUND IT ( SORRY THAT'S THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE IT) AS SOON AS THAT LIGHT CAME ON MY CAR STOPPED WORKING. IT WILL TURN OVER BUT JUST WON'T START, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS, I HONESTLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CARS. PLEASE HELP!

A Catera, I presume? I think it is the service transmission light. It may have set due to a loss of engine rpm, which is in accordance with it not starting. It could possibly have a failed crank sensor causing the no start, and the loss of engine RPM. That is my guess.
