Put the car in the garage last night, shut off the engine and the cooling fan would not go off. Only drove six blocks and the car did not appearto be overheated. I disconnected one of the battery terminals so as not to run down the battery. Went out an hour later, reattached battery cable and cooling fan came on immediately. Any ideas?

Check the temp sensor, and relays in the power distribution center...Coolant sensor is at the top centerpart of the engine to left of throttlebody.
