1996 Cadillac Fleetwood 96 cadillac fleetwood parking brake

1996 Cadillac Fleetwood

The vacuum actuator has a leak and will not release the parking brake. Vacuum leak caused havoc on heater control, engine idle, and o2 codes. Runs much better with plugged.

Need help replacing the vacuum actuator. No listing from GM; discontinued. Canister simply pops off and can be replaced but no part no.

Any help adapting other vacuum actuator application? Metal canister 2 inches diameter and rod 2 inches long with dogleg to connect. Has metal collar that snaps into ears on the parking brake frame.

GM must have used this actuator for other applications and other years.

Thanks for the help.

Don't know of anything aftermarket that would match the specifics. Did your GM parts source try vintage parts(VPI), it should be accessible through gm parts catalog. That or try Cadillacs Only in CA. Don't have the # on hand, possibly google it.
