Engine Performance problem

Engine Performance problem
1994 Cadillac Fleetwood V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 141200 miles
Fleetwood hesitates badly when given gas to accelerate or go up a modest hill.
I've changed gas filter, oxygen sensors and throttle position sensor with no change in performance.
I've read the trouble codes through the heater and nothing useful is indicated. Interesting that I get some codes that are not on any code list I can find. The list I've got has a 2-code prefix beginning with 00- and going up to 04- with specific trouble codes following.
MAP sensor and fuel pump have been suggested as being the problem. I have a MAP sensor connector but not a MAP sensor itself.
