1987 Cadillac Fleetwood V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 69000 miles
can I use a long breaker bar to loosen the main bearing bolts without having them break? Original factory engine so they probably have some type of locktite on them.

I don’t see why not
using a breaker bar should be OK
