1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Engine woes
I just bought an 84' Cadilac fleetwood brougham with an HT 4100 engine in it. I was unaware of the poor performanc eof this engine or I probably would not have bought the car. Is there any other type of GM engine that will fit this car / transmission. The car is in good shape and I bought it for $2000. I don't necessarily want to spend another $2000 on an engine though. Should I invest in the car or resell it?

you could put a 350 in it and trans

i have a 1985 4100 rwd big body caddy. the trans was rebuilt like 2 years and the motor was just replaced new. too bad wrecked it from the back. the car drove like new. strong motor. i would never sell it but now is not worth nothing like this. will sell motor or any parts for cheap. from chicago illinois.
