Engine Performance problem
1984 Cadillac Fleetwood V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 84,000 miles

I just bought an 84' Cadilac fleetwood brougham with an HT 4100 engine in it. I was unaware of the poor performanc eof this engine or I probably would not have bought the car. Is there any other type of GM engine that will fit this car / transmission. The car is in good shape and I bought it for $2000. I don't necessarily want to spend another $2000 on an engine though. Should I invest in the car or resell it?

I have a 1985 4100 rwd big body caddy. The trans was rebuilt like 2 years and the motor was just replaced new. Too bad wrecked it from the back. The car drove like new. Strong motor. I would never sell it but now is not worth nothing like this. Will sell motor or any parts for cheap. From chicago illinois.
