2004 Cadillac Escalade Ext V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 121000 miles
I started to drive my veh this morning everyhthing seem to be fine after making exit of the hwy I noticed that speedometer hand was stuck on 60mph after taking off the MPH hand continued to move up to 100MPH eventhought I was not going that fast of speed. Now it is stuck at 100mph. What could be the cause of this problem? Is it a serious issue?

It is a fault within the cluster. This is common for these years on all GM C/K trucks. The cluter needs to be replaced and programmed/setup.
