2004 Cadillac Escalade V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 56000 miles
i engaged the emergency brake and the peddeal went all the way down to the floor and now it wont release. how do i get the brake to release its jammed on the floor

Is the cable for the release handle broken. Look down under the dash, if you can find the lever that the cable goes to, you can manually release it that way.
