2000 Cadillac Escalade Flasher Noise
Electrical problem
2000 Cadillac Escalade V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 83000 miles
Today, while driving, we started hearing the turn signal noise which was intermitent and sometimes worse than other times. The flasher indicator (L or R) did not light up nor did the exterior lights light up while the flasher noise continued. The emergency flasher button was not on. The turn signals work when in use. What do you think is causing this distractful noise as we are driving or even stopped? Thanks.

This may not be a flasher at all. It could any one of the many relay's that run things. Like the a/c relay and the wiper relay the intermitent relay and so on. What you need to do is try to locate where the noise is coming from. Is it behind the dash if so is it on the left side the middle or the right side?
