I recently purchased a 1995 Cadillac El Dorado, I was told the engine over heats, I brought the car home and changed the thermostat and found that someone had cut the guts out of the thermostat. The car overheats right away and I there is no water in the oil and no clouds of white smoke from exhaust. Could the water pump be the problem or perhaps radiator hose? And where is the water pump located at?
