My turn signal does not work on either side, there are no burned out bulbs and the 4 way flaser works like a charm. I was told that there were two flasher devices one for 4 way and one for turn signal. I tore the underdash apart and could only find one, the four way. Where is the turn signal flasher?

Check the fuse box in the trunk. I have the same thing going on although i'm pre-occupied at the moment. Let me know if this works!

The flasher is located behind the dash almost directly in line with the end of the steering wheel tilt lever. It is a pain to get to. Do NOT buy a replacement from AutoZone. Completely wrong part! The part you want is ACDelco #3548813. Order via the Internet for about $11. 1. Remove the dark gray under panel - 2 bolts at driver's seat (DS) end. The panel will slide off 2 mounting poles at the firewall (FW). You will have to disconnect the cable to the under-dash light. 2. Remove the knee panel under the steering column. It is held in by 4 clips, 2 at the back towards the FW and 2 more approx. 1/2 way towards the DS. 3. Remove metal plate. 4 bolts, 2 towards FW & 2 towards the DS. Now, everything is exposed, EXCEPT the flasher. 4. You will have to reach around a panel on the left side to feel the flasher, straight forward of the wheel-tilt lever. There is a hole where you can stick your thumb (R-hand) to feel the flat end of the flasher. It is held in place by a stiff clip. From the other end, push hard about 1/2" to release the clip. Make sure you get the old clip out. (A new one comes with the new part.) You won't be able to see it, but you can feel it if it stays attached. The contact plug has numerous plug-in options, so be careful to plug in the new flasher correctly. 5. Test the flasher. Position the flasher and press forward with your thumb through the access hole to place the new clip over the mounting flange. Replace the 3 panels in reverse order. I hope this helps someone.
