ELDORADO 89,000 MILES V8
1996 Cadillac El Dorado
My car recently showed a Service Transmission warning so the mechanic flushed the transmission fluid which did not fix the problem. He then replaced the Power Train Control Module and that did not fix the problem, and now he is replacing an internal sensor. If the sensor was bad was it necessary to replace the control module or even flush the transmission since I just had that done about 10K miles ago? Is this a typical repair in Cad Eldo's?
