1993 Cadillac El Dorado V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles
i have checked the battery(good) starter (good) car wont even crank. i bypassed the security with a resistor. my key resistance is 2.4 the resistor i bought is 2.1. i was told by a gm mechanic that that resistance is close enough to trick the security. headlights, horn all work or come on. i have noticed my radio (bose) will not turn on but the clock works if i push the button. when i turn the key to "start" my fuel and other gauges peg the opposite way. any ideas or questions?
