Had a water pump put on the car. Before putting pump on. The gauges said low refrigerent coolant. After putting the pump on, it now says air compressor off. Refrigerent was checked and is full.
Could you help me with why the guages might say air compressor off. Thank you ! Idot woman with no clue.

Hello - Ma'am

To better assist I need to make sure you and I are on the same page so if I may, go over your question with you.

Your water pump was replaced. Why did you have your water pump replaced?

Before it was replaced, on the dash cluster, (or on the AC read out display, please tell me which?) It said low air conditioning refrigerant.

The water pump was installed - you vehicle engine temperature is cooling just fine, you have a good heater inside the car - no problems there.

Now your on the dash cluster, (or on the AC read out display, please tell me which?) You have "Air compressor off"

You had the AC refrigerant checked by a mechanic and it was fine and the AC works just fine on the inside of the car... Yes?

Hey, don't cut yourself short! In no way do we think you are an idiot..... We are all better at some things than others and know more about certain things than others..... Isn't that great... That way we can all help each other with our strong points the good Lord has given to us. If we all knew the same thing... Who would we get to help us with the things we all didn't know?

Okay, one other thing..... Please go to Auto Zone (AZ) or O'Reilly's (OR) and for FREE they can pull the codes to the car. Most important: Once they check your codes, if they find something and you don't get it fixed and need to get back with us, please make sure you tell us exactly what the code was, number and all. Example, if the code was E0568 O2 Sensor bad. Then make sure you give us all of that. While there for FREE also they can bring their tester out and check your battery, alternator and starter. Any codes will help with the problem.

Just as soon as you get back with the above info... We'll do what we can to assist.
