The passenger window will go down when engaged but not up. You can hear the motor running. What is the most likely problem?

Most likely is the regulator, it is a cable drive type and prone to failure. You can probably pull the window upward with your hands. It may just be going down by its own weight. Do you have an extended warranty? This regulator is not cheap, the tune of around 400 bucks for regulator w/motor, and thats not including labor.
