I have a 2000 Cadillac DTS. It seems to overheat only when I go over 80mph. I have had the radiator replaced and the coolant reservior. I have taken it to a mechanic that has tested the engine. He said the head gaskets are going bad according to the test.
I have been doing alittle research on an alternative repair besides replacing the head gasket. So my question is, have anyone had any experience with Thermagasket in a northstar 32 valve engine? And what was the outcome? Im afraid if I use one of these products, it will clog something up.
And which product would be best to use?

Where in the U.S. Is there an 80 mph road, lol

anyway its really not the headgaskets that go bad, the headbolt threads pull out of the block loosening the heads, alunim does this from its being constantly heated and cooled
