How do I check the starter relay

Electrical problem V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 80,000 miles

Cannot get the starter to engage. Have cleaned all terminals & replaced the battery. When I turn the switch I get nothing. I have tried the second set of keys. I love this site

Hello,

Yep there is a starter relay under the hood on the left side of the engine compartment. I would check the entire circuit here is a couple of repair guides that will help you see whats going on and test the relay.

The starter in your car is under the intake manifold.
