i recently almost got submerged in a lot of water last week. Tried to go through it when the traction control engadged and she started to slow do even with a lot of throttle. I stopped, reversed out and had some steam reveal from the hood. Not so bad at the time because i traveled 20 miles that night and then 20 that following morning. I pulled into my driveway and hear a big scrape on her belly. later that day i started her up to get warm for me, and after 5 min. she shut down. When i try to turn it over, it whinnes to start but it sounds like no spark is happening. I tried starter fluid on the distrbution cap and the air filter. Still nothing. It's been more than a week. could water have made it's way into the spark plugs?? What is your suggestion??

Is the engine cranking, or does the starter just whine? If it doesnt crank, the starter may have been ruined...also remove the distributor cap if it does crank, check for moisture, wipe out with paper towel, let it dry out, then try it, you can also spray the wires with WD-40 this will dry them out...

i dried out the dist. cap with paper towel. Yes the engine is cranking so i'm not sure it's the starter. Should i try starter fluid on each spark plug cap???
