I am a 55yr. old poor single female who recently bought this car. after an oil change at a mech. shop/ dealer , i was told my intake is leaking. What does that mean and what can I do? I paid cash.

Hi:
If you purchased the car "AS IS" there is nothing you can do. Was there a warranty implied?
As far as the intake, the gasket will need replaced.
