1997 Buick Riviera

Air Conditioning problem
1997 Buick Riviera 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 125000 miles

ac compressor seized up. replaced ac compressor and charged system
now ac compressor does not come on. what is the +12 volt and common pin configuration, planning on putting 12 volts to compressor clutch to verify If clutch engages, what could be other cause?l

Before you put 12v + to the compressor how many oz's did you charge the system with?Also do you have climate control or manual a/c let me know.

30 oz and climate control on auto and 60 degrees

It hold's 36oz's i emailed you the a/c spec's to your personal email.I would hook up some pressure gauge's and see if the pressure's are within range for the pressure switch to kick the compressor on.Or turn the compressor off.Let me know what you find i think you can rent the gauge's from auto zone.
