SIGNALS NOT WORKING
1994 Buick Regal Custom 3100 engine 117000 miles. The signals are not working right. When I turn right, the signal will usually work. When I turn left, it only works 1 out of ten times (flasher does not even click). I checked all bulbs and they all seem fine. I tried switching all bulbs from the right side to the left. Nothing changed still problem with left side. I put in a new flasher. No change. I sprayed some electrical contact cleaner into steering column by switch. Maybe it was coincidence, but signals worked for a couple of hours and then back to not working. From what I can tell, maybe it needs new switch? That would require pulling steering wheel, airbag, etc. Could I just jump the wires somewhere and connect to a toggle switch? What else could be wrong?
