My 2002 regal ls, coolant light is on steady. The special coolant that it comes with was mixed with a quart or two of regular antifreeze.I have flushed it out and put in recommended anti freeze and a thermostat but the light stays on. There is no sensor in the coolant overflow resevoir. It has 67,000 miles. On a v6 3.8 engine. It runs good and does't seem to use any or little coolant. I do not see any coolant in oil or oil in coolant. The mix is 50/50. What should I do?

I would replace the low coolant level sensor. It is located in the radiator about 4 to 6 inchs down on the sameside as the radiator cap.

Note:remove right headlamp to replace senor. Makes it alot easier.

I'm with Cly on that. Either replace the sensor or live with the light and keep checking periodically.
