1990 Buick Regal engine cut out

drove 2 miles and car engine quit like it ran out of fuel..restarted it and off i go and then quit again ..pulled over restarted it 6 or 7 times quitting each time then started it and drove home ...i can start it it will run till i run up the rpm's and the outcome is the same ..seems to run out of fuel ..can you help pinpoint the problem

First, if it feels like it is running out of gas, chances are it is. You need to check fuel pump pressure. Here is a how to video to help.
