1988 Buick Regal rough idle

Idles rough and runs rough, someone suggested I check the MAF sensor and/or IAC valve. Ok, but where are they located?What do I look for, as to whether they're good/working or not?If have to replace either or both, ballpark, how much $$$?

Has the car been tuned up reciently? Also, has the check engine light come on? A MAF and IAC will kick the check engine light on. Check to see if you have any vacuum leaks.

Ucould also try changing the fuel filter
