Car quit when I went to park the car (still in gear). Put it in park, tried to start. Everything sounded good; engine was turning over fine, just wouldn't start up. Fuel injectors working fine. Didn't seem to have a spark; so I changed plugs. No difference. Changed coil pack; headlights, radio, etc. Work but no fuel injectors. When I turn the key to start the car, the only thing that "runs" is the radiator fan. One other thing I noticed was the gear indicator on dashboard flashing on and off, and says, "automatic drive".
Is there a "reset" button on this car somewhere? I can't figure out why nothing's working now.

Bruce Lawton

p.S. Inserted the "old" coil pack back into the engine, and nothing happened at all, either.

HAVE A HELPER PUT AN EAR TO THE GAS TANK, AS YOU TURN THE KEY ON. IT SHOULD MAKE A HUMMING NOISE. IF IT DONT, ITS THE FUEL PUMP. IF IT DOES, TRY REMOVING THE NEG. CABLE OF THE BATT. FOR AT LEAST 2 MIN. THIS WILL RESET THE COMPUTER. IT COULD HAVE JUMPED TIME ALSO. ILL LOOK INTO IT DEEPER. WITH THAT MANY MILES ANY THING COULD HAPPEN.[NOT KNOCKING YOUR CAR.I THINK BUICKS ARE THE BEST]. KEEPIN TOUCH, ILL TRY MY BEST TO HELP![IM NOT THE BEST, BUT I DO KNOW A LITTLE!] IF IVE HELPED PLEASE DONATE.
