I have a 1996 Buick LeSabre Custom with a 3.8 engine @ 180,000 miles. It looks like I have a motor mount that needs to be moved to do this. Is that correct ?

You are correct. Not only did the fine engineers make this an unneeded challenge but you may find the tensioner sticking as well. IF so, hold onto your hat when changing the tensioner as coolant flows through it, making this an unnecessary but difficult and expensive job.

You guys are AWESOME!

Regarding the above message, is the same true for a 1992 Convertible LeBaron 2 door, 140,000 miles?

My mom has one and she was told the serpentine motor needs to be replaced - should we just get a new car instead?

Thanks so much,
Shannon.
