A mechanic told me I needed to replace the intake
manifold on this car as it was 'leaking anti-freeze into
the engine'. The cost: $270.00 for parts, and labor
$361.00. Is this a reasonable charge and could this be a scam?

HE IS REPLACING THE INTAKE PLENOM( THE BIG PLASTIC PIECE ON TOP OF ENGINE) CORRECT. THEN REPLACING IT ALONG WITH THE LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET. YOUR ESTIMATE IF IT IS TO DO WHAT I JUST DESCRIBED IS RIGHT ON THE MONEY.
