1999 Buick Lesabre V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 150000 miles

I have a Buick and cant figure out what is wrong with it. It has been to 6 mechanics and they are all puzzled. Sometimes it runs, sometimes it doesnt. You can hear it try to turn over but it doesnt make it that far. It will run and just turn off while driving and then needs to be towed. It then runs again when it feels like it...
Please help!!
My mom had a buick years ago and it did the same thing...she donated it after they couldnt figure it out...
