Hi, my name is jess and every time I stop behind someone and I go to go my buick shuts off and then today on the way to work it would be driving fine then at about 30 mph it would act like I wasnt pushing the gas when I was! And anytime I try to accelerate it trys to shut off or it does shut off. I have already changed my coils so I know its not that. My stepfather inlaw seems to think its the fuel filter because we just changed the fuel pump about 2 - 3 yrs ago and the injectors were just changed about a yr ago and we are not leaking gas so its not in the line. So anything you think it might be please let me know asap because I can not miss work tomorrow. Thank you

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
