1988 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 178k miles

I have an 88 buick lesabre and it has a wiper problem, when I shut off the wipers, it takes about 8-10 wipes before it decides to park, what is wrong?

IF they operate in "lo" then replace the park switch.

The park switch? Would that be the turn signal switch assembly?

No, sorry for the lack of clarity.

What you want is a wiper motor/module assy. I use the napa brand reman units. They are reasonable in cost and dependable. The park switch is internal.
