Is check engine light on?
If so have it scanned for codes
as a 1st step
check for tune up

To honest I would check for codes. Most likely o2 sensor #1 pre converter. Possible pluged injectors. Does it have a secondary air injection system. There is a valve on the right side of the engine below the cylinder head that I have seen cause this to.
