What is a good way to drain old fuel from a 1960 Buick Electra gas tank? Is there a drain plug? If not...help!

by all means do this outside, especially wher eyou have somplace to wash away any spilled gas. I fyou have a hydraulic jack that is better. remove the fuel line connections, put he jack under the tank an djust put some pressure on it. it's easier ifyou have some help. then remove the bolts to the straps an dlet the jack down. You'll have to maybe move it forward due to the filler neck. thn just puor the gas out the filler neck. Of course into a suitable container, then flush it with water first. BY NO MEANS USE ANY TYPE OF OPEN FLAME DUE TO THE EXSPLOSIVENESS OF GASOLINE!!!!!!!
