I replaced the brake master cylinder on the h100 hyundai, however I still have to pump the brake paddle to make the vehicle stop. I have to step four to five times for the brakes to respond. What could be the problem.

Was the system bled of air?
Is the brake fluid level correct and did you check for leakages?
Have you checked the calipers for binding and if rar are drum, check the slave cylinders for seizure.
If vehicle is equipped with ABS, it could be the modulator tthat has a problem.
