2006 BMW X3 Replacing Bulbs within Tailgate

Electrical problem
2006 BMW X3 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 50,000 miles

I need to replace one of the lights (brake/parking) on the back of the vehicle. It's located in the tailgate (on the rear trunk lid), and am not sure how to get to it. How do I get at the lights so I can replace?

Thank you!

Here is a site that shows an exploded view of the tailgate: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=PA93&mospid=47794&btnr=51_5179&hg=51&fg=65

I see there are screws that are behind trim covers, these might need to be pried off, also there are some clips that pop off and sometimes break, you may need to replace them. I hope you can find what you need at this site, if not, I will be around mate ♥
