Computer problem
2004 BMW X3 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

Getting p0171 and p0174 codes.
Don't notice any real difference in driving.
Had car serviced earlier this year for p0151 and p0154.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
L

It could be several things, air mass sensor, a leak at the intake, lazy O2 sensors. Have you tried resetting them yet?

Thanks for the reply. I have not reset the faults yet.
How can I go about that?
I do not have a scanner.
Do I just disconnect the battery for a bit?

Thanks again,
L

Unfotunately, no. You will need to invest in a scanner.
