2005 Other BMW Models Tapping Sound
Noises problem
2005 Other BMW Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 65000 miles
I have a BMW 545I and the indicator light came on showing that my fluids were low. My husband added more fluids to it but discovered that the oil was very low, and the cars fluid had evaporated. Now the car is making a tapping sound. Does this mean a head was blown. What are some of the possible causes. I am afraid that my engine might be dying.

A tapping noise could be most anything, do you have a trusted mechanic?
