Heater problem
2005 Other BMW Models 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 50000 miles

I have a 2005 E65 BMW 730 Diesel..when the auxiliary heater is on i can hear a loudish ticking noise coming from the rear of the car. Dealer says it is normal and comes from the 'pulsing' of the pump that feeds the auxiliary heater. This noise can be heard from outside the car and when sitting in the car with doors and windows closed.

I dont believe on a luxury car that such a noise should be audible from within the car..anyone any similiar problems/advice...
