Blower fan will won't shut off
Electrical problem
2001 BMW E46 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 91000 miles
Recently, the blower fan (AC fan) will not shut off even after removing ignition key. The final stage resistor (blower regulator) was replaced a month ago. What part could be bad? I was googling, some said it could be stuck relay, but I can't seem to find where the relay is or it even exists. Please help!

The part you replaced, was it new from BMW? It may be defective. There isn't a relay. Remove the unit and inspect, if it has a metal case or if you installed a used part, that is where the issue most likely is located. Another method I use is to remove the final stage and if it is hot, it is possibly a defective unit.
