Air Conditioning problem

my ac would only work in the mornings or night but as soon as the car got hot it would not turn on will the compressor woult turn on and you could feel the cold air but the fan wouldnt turn on then it would only work if i hit a speedbump in the morning or night now it rarely turnes on day or night
