Air Conditioning problem
2003 BMW 540i V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 72000 miles
air conditioner function good at times and then all a sudden it will not come on at all. when the a/c doesn't come on you can't hear the blower at all. i have even tried to turn on my heater and nothing happens. i let it set for a week and all of a sudden it's working properly with cold air.

It sounds like the fan is not blowing, right? If the panel for the climate controls is illuminated and the controls seem to be working, but the fan is not moving the air, then the final stage unit is in need of replacement.
