2002 BMW 540i noise while accelerating
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2002 BMW 540i V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 103430 miles
My bmw has started making a clicking or clanging noise while driving accompanied by vibration especially when i start to move from a stop. the sound is metallic like steel to steel and sometimes like something is hitting the floorboard in the rear seat area once it gets going the noise stops. While on the freeway I notice a slight vibration but no noise.

Driveshaft is probably the source, have it inspected straightaway.
