1995 BMW 530i brake pedal switch

Hello im trying to repair my brake pedal switch and the dash just wont come out I removed the philips screws and the crappy screws and when I went to pull the dam thing out it was stuck should I just put some elbow grease in it or what?

If screws were removed and trim seems stuck still just pull outward hard, it probably has a few plastic clips on the backside of it

1995 BMW 530i V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 157000 miles

Okay so I put in a new brake pedal switch but the brake pedal isn't coming back far enough to turn the lights off when I drive I don't know what I'm doin wrong is I made sure the switch was in properly but the brake knob isn't pressing the switch in somebody help

Brake switch should have adjustment to it. Remove the connector from switch then loosen the lock nut on the switch and rotate the switch in or out until the switch plunger is about 3/4 depressed with pedal in rest position. Tighten lock nut and reconnect connector to switch and test it then.

Pull the red button in the switch all the way out and then let the brake arm come back and touch it.
