Engine Performance problem
1999 BMW 530 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles
i have a 530d on a 'v' plate. i have noticed recently that when the engine is warm there is a problem when i hit 60mph. for example pulling onto a slip road and building speed i put my foot down hit 60 and the power stops. it pulls at 60 then all of a sudden the power kicks back in and i'm away. it is very frustrating and my fuel consumption is going through the roof. i have noticed a louder than normal whistle from the turbo but this could be paranoia. please help as this is my baby and she is not very well.
