2000 BMW 528 Engine stalling in cold weather/decelleration
Engine Performance problem
2000 BMW 528 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles
My car is always in the garage and it is driven about 15-20 miles per week. During the recent cold spell when the temps were in the teens, the car would stall/decellerate as I would drive on my neighborhood street. I would have to restart it maybe once. Once I got onto the major road, as if it had to warm up, it ran fine. There was a significant amount of ice and snow on my neighborhood street but the major road was clear. Also, I took it out this morning when the temps were in the 30's. No problem on my neighborhood street where the ice/snow had decreased a bit.
