Hi I have a 1987 528e bmw Auto it has no get up and go no low end my kids Kia would kick its but. I no its the ecno, model is there a diff, computer or some thing I already checked or replaced the filters, it sounds and revs, fine in park but in gear its so slow its just like if I was pulling a boat. Mike.

When did you start realizing this was an issue? What have you done so far? Does the transmission schedule correctly or is there no kickdown? If that is the case then a simple adjustment of the kickdown cable might do the trick.

The car works fine, the kickdown works fine, it just has no low end, is this normal for an E car its like im pulling a trailer first gear is fine but 2 and 3 there so slow its not slipping its there.
